Decisions about the application

World-class education and in case the 'world-class' doesn't sum it up properly, prestige!

Chance to study at MIT with Cambridge for the 3rd year, Robot Building project at the end fo the second year, and generally much better for science.

It looks fab, one of our ex-students is studying there and told me more about it, and it has a link with Caltech of America. (another very top engineering institution)

Preparation

no

NOTHING! Not even a bloody practice interview.

The forms: It should be personal.

The interview(s): REEEEAD!! Read about the interviewers, read books on engg, read your physics, read your maths. Don't waste your time going to the pub! Theres more to life than drinking.

First interview went amazingly well, second interview - amazingly bad.

What height does a geostationary satellite need to be at? Some potential divider sum, lots of maths questions, trigo and complex numbers are very important.

Shirt, trousers, tie, sweater!

Impressions

Pembroke looks amazing - amazing amazing amazing and I'm damn fortunate to get an offer from them.

The room I stayed at for the interview was the swishest ever! Reeeeeeally classy, spacious, nice!

Edible but not great

Nah

One amazing, the other seemed like he was gonna kill me.

Didn't meet any.

Final stage

I was in hospital with an IV drip stuck in my arm. I didn't feel anything. And not because I didn't want to, because I couldn't, I was almost comatose. (it all seems very funny now tho)

Looking back

My God YA!!

Talk to me. (i have no life and love guiding people)
